Fun Friday for me today, Mom has been taking some Friday's off for the summer so we can hang out. We originally thought we would be taking the day care kids out on field trips but it has just turned in to mom/daughter days instead. So I went in to see Kayla at 3pm to give her her bottle. Kayla has gone up another two cc's on breast milk and is now at 42cc's. She drank about 20cc's from her bottle today, very good for her she has been doing about 10 to 13cc's these last couple of days. After I was done feeding Kayla her bottle I surprised mom by asking her if she wanted to hold Kayla. Well of course she said "YES" and got so so very excited. We hooked Kayla up to get the rest of her feeding and mom held her grand-daughter for the first time. She has waited 44 days for this and couldn't be more excited, the smile never left her face that day. A precious moment she will always remember. Mike and I went in for her 9pm cares Mike gave her a bottle she had about 10cc's and now weighs 4lb 8oz.
