Happy fourth of July!!! We celebrated the 4th with Kayla tonight, Mike and I went in for her 9pm cares. Fortunately there is not to many updates, Kayla is now 3lbs, 3oz now very close to 3lbs, 4oz. Kayla has gotten longer and is at 15 3/4 inches, as well and her head getting larger rounding out at 11 1/2cms. The Dr. decided to keep her humidifier on for one more day, she still remains at 28cc's of breast milk, with 24 grams of supplement. Oxygen pressure is still at two, but Kayla is doing very well, she is having desats, but not as many (very relieving.) Plus the nurses aren't needing to chase her with oxygen, and Kayla has remained around 24% for most of the day, yeah Kayla!! She nuzzled a bit tonight and did very well while we held her, she seemed very comfy sleeping on daddy. All and all Mike and I left very happy and excited to think that Kayla is almost done with this desat phase. The bigger she gets the better it gets and hooray Kayla is growing great. :)
