Kayla was doing pretty well today, her desats weren't as often as they have been, she is going up and down on her levels but bringing herself up more on her own. Dr lowered her pressure oxygen to two and Kayla seems to do well at that level. The Dr also increased Kayla's breast milk amount to 28cc's, and she is now up to 24 grams of calorie supplement. Lastly Kayla has gained another ounce and is up to 3lb 2oz. So all and all we had another quiet day with Kayla today. The most exciting news of today was Kayla's nuzzling, Mike and I went in to see her around her 9pm cares. This is a good awake time for her, I put her up to try and nuzzle and she latched on. It was so great, Kayla was swallowing whatever she was getting and was doing really well on sucking. We were amazed not only was she doing so well but she also nuzzled for close to a half hour. Dr says, "Wow, Kayla just thinks she older than she really is." We again are so proud of our little girl.
