What an exciting day today, Kayla is officially one month old today. I can not believe she is already so big! We are so proud of her, we were able to have a quiet day today too. I went in at 3p for cares, Kayla nuzzled for a little while then we did skin to skin. Later my mom and grandma came in today to see Kayla, we were able to turn up the lights up so grandma could see Kayla better. Kayla has gotten so much bigger since that last time grandma had seen her. When I talked to the Dr today she said they will probably take Kayla off pressure oxygen tomorrow and see how she does. She went down to one today and did pretty well, yes she is still desating but again she is getting better day by day. So we will see how tomorrow goes. When Mike and I went in for 9p cares tonight they had changed her feeding from 32cc's in an hour to 32cc's in 45 minutes. Kayla did so well she didn't desat once during her feeding, not once. That has not happened since the day she started her desats, so Mike and I were so excited when we had left tonight. Kayla has also gained another ounce and is now 3lbs 9oz. Happy one month birthday to our little princess. We love you very much, keep up the good work.
