Great, great day today. Kayla did amazing during her 3pm cares today while I held her. Very little desats, non of them too low. Left feeling very good and excited again to get to the next big steps. When Mike and I came in for 9pm cares, we got to give Kayla our first bath. Kayla has been given a bath by the nurses before but we have not gotten to do it ourselves yet. Mom was also there to see Kayla and she had called us because our night nurse wanted to let us give Kayla a bath. So fun, Mike and I got to put her in a little basin of warm water. We washed her little arms and feet and rubbed her cute little belly. Kayla did so good, she made a little bit of cry when we first put her in the basin of water but didn't make a peep for the rest of her bath. After washing her body I held Kayla in a football hold and washed her hair, she has so much hair it's just so cute, then we got to brush it and dry her off. Then of course you need to put on the lotion, so sweet, Kayla was getting a little massage when Mike and I put her lotion on I think she enjoyed it, I know we did. So our first official bath for Kayla so neat, we then put her in a new cute outfit, it was so nice to not have all the cords hooked up for a moment too. We weighted Kayla after her bath and she is 3lbs 12oz she is getting so big. What a fun, good day it was for us and Kayla today. :)
