Rough, rough day for me today. I woke up this morning with a phone call from Dr. Martin saying he wasn't happy with the progress Kayla was making on her bottle feeding. So he and the nurse decided to to put the feeding tube back in, he said Kayla wasn't consistent enough to take the bottle without exhausting herself and he didn't want us to force anything on her. Kayla had lost 12grams from this trial run, which I don't think it much at all. She went from 6lbs 8.6oz to 6lbs 7.4oz I really wish we could have gone a few more trial days with Kayla so she could better learn hunger cues.
